Refunds & Returns

Our return policy lasts thirty (30) days. We are unable to consider and process any type of refund or exchange request if your request for refund or exchange is more than 30 days since the date of your purchase. Additionally, the product(s) that you would like to return for a refund or exchange must be unused and in the same condition received in order to be eligible to return for a refund or exchange a product purchased on this website. The product(s) that you would like to return for a refund or exchange must also be in the original packaging as shipped.

We charge a 25% restocking fee. Furthermore, the original cost of shipping and any return shipping costs that is incurred is non-refundable and non-reimbursable. We also do not accept returns for any custom-made products due to the nature of the product. We appreciate your understanding.

To complete your return request for a refund or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of original purchase. You must also be the original customer that purchased the product(s) you would like to return for a refund or exchange. Our Refunds and Returns Policy is non-transferrable and only available as a one-time use for those that originally-purchased the product(s).

Processing Your Refund

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll send you an email to notify you that we’ve received the product(s) you returned. We’ll also notify you via email regarding  the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange request.

If you’re approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within ten (10) business days.

Missing Refund(s) & Exchange(s)

If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account if you paid with a debit card or direct deposit. If you paid via credit card, please contact your credit card provider to see if there are any incoming credits that are pending on your account. Please know that it may take some time before your refund is officially posted to the original method of payment. After completing the previously-mentioned tasks and still cannot find your refund, please contact us directly at help@designtownusa.com for assistance.

If you’re waiting for an exchange package to arrive and have not yet received it, please first check your email (including your junk mailbox) and open the shipping confirmation email that was sent to you. Within that email is a shipment tracking number. Please click on that link within the shipping confirmation email to track your shipment and see its current location. If the current location of your shipment has not changed after a 72 hours period, or if you cannot locate the shipping confirmation email sent to you, please contact us directly at help@designtownusa.com for assistance.

Sale Items

If the product(s) you’d like to return for a refund or exchange were purchased while on sale, the product(s) are no longer eligible for a refund, return and/or exchange. Only regular-priced products may be returned for a refund or exchange. Unfortunately product(s) on sale cannot be returned, refunded and/or exchanged.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a product for an exact replacement product f, send us an email at help@designtownusa.com and send your product(s) to: 3615 Hayden Ave., Culver City, CA 90232, USA. Before sending any product(s) you purchased on this website, you need to contact us and obtain a return verification number (RVN). We’re unable to process any returns or exchanges for product(s) we receive with no return verification number attached to the shipment.

Gift Returns

If the product(s) you’d like to return for a refund or exchange was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped, you’ll receive a store credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product(s) is received, a store credit will be applied to your account. If the product(s) you’d like to return for a refund or exchange wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we’ll send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return. In this case, you’ll have to contact the original purchaser to receive any type of monetary refund.

Shipping

To return your product(s), you should mail your product(s) to: 3615 Hayden Ave., Culver City, CA 90232, USA. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your product(s). Additionally, return shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product(s) to reach you may vary. If you’re shipping an item that is valued over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned product(s) and/or packages. We appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
